A new series has kicked off called the Christian & Law.
This will be a seven episode/week series about the relationship of a believer to the law.
There can be a lot of confusion surrounding the law in regards to believers like...
Am I still under the law?
Do I need to uphold the law and practice it today?
What is the law's purpose?
& more!
In this first episode, I will be doing an introduction to the law, so we all start out with the same understanding of what law I am talking about, where it came from, who it was given to, and why it was given!

This episode will explore the purpose of a woman, the role of a woman, and the character traits of a biblical woman as described in Scripture. I will also briefly talk about a woman's relationship to her home, the local church, and the world.

This is a stand-alone episode about hermeneutics!
Are you familiar with it? Are you wondering what on earth that word means?
Whether you haven't heard of it or you are very aware of it, let's learn about its importance and how it equips us to be discerning and lifelong students of God's Word.
I will be talking about what it is, why it is important, and what are a few tools we can use to help us interpret Scripture.
This topic is a huge passion for me and an area where I am a continual learner in!

As women of God, let us choose to draw near to God in our suffering instead of walking away from Him in our pain and frustration.
This last episode in the series Understanding Suffering is all about what we can do in our suffering to strengthen our relationship with the Lord instead of allowing it to fall to the wayside.
I will talk about...
-Drawing near to God in our suffering
-Being transparent and honest with God in our suffering
-Running to God's Word in our suffering
-Reaching out to the body of Christ in our suffering
These are all things we can to do that will strengthen our relationship with the Lord despite the circumstances that surround us.
May we see God, this life, our future hope, and the trials that enter our life all through God's perspective.

Episode #3 will be focus on asking the question, "What has God does in light of our suffering?"
Is God really distant and careless toward His creation's condition?
OR
Has He, in love, provided for us a remedy that impacts our lives here and now and into eternity?
I will discuss how God has provided for a solution for us related to sin's damaging effects and what God has given believers to be able to go through hardships in our lives now.
All that sin stole and damaged, God brings back and redeems through His Son Jesus Christ.

The episode will bring us back to the Creation account to see the condition of all that God made and what happened that brought about dysfunction: suffering and evil.
I will cover where suffering and evil came from, why suffering affects all of humanity, what our current condition is, and the hope there is for believers.

As we begin the new series on Understanding Suffering, let us first begin with the character of God as our foundation.
I will dive into God being loving, morally good, all-powerful, sovereign, and just. We will learn about what His Word says about who He is and allow that to inform our perspective.
While our circumstance and emotions may change in suffering and hardship, the character of God will not. He can be relied upon and trusted.
